  VOL LAST/ADJUST (2)

  Press the SEL button for more than  seconds to activate in the following sequence:

 

VOL LAST:

 The volume level at ‘switch-off’ will resume when power is ON/OFF.

 

VOL ADJ:

  The initial volume level at ‘turn-on’ is set.

4.  PRESET STATIONS (1,2,3,4,5,6)

 

(A) RADIO MODE:

  Six numbered preset buttons store and recall stations for each band.

  Storing a station:

  1. Select a band (if needed)

  . Select a station

  . Hold a preset button longer than one second. Preset numbers appear in the display when station is 

saved.

  Recall a station:

  1. Select band (if needed)

  . Press a preset button for less than one second to select stored station.
 

(B) CD PLAYER MODE:

  1. PAUSE    . INTRO    . REPEAT    4. RANDOM

5.  STEREO/MONO SELECTOR (ST)

  This function will only affect FM reception. Press this button if the FM reception becomes noisy/hissy. 

If the station being received is in stereo, it will now be heard in mono. Press this button again for 

normal reception.

6.  LOUDNESS CONTROL (LD)

  Press this button for bass and treble boost. Push button again to return to normal operation. This 

function is useful when listening at low levels. Loudspeakers are inefficient at low power levels and 

will tend to sound flat. The loudness control will boost the bass and treble response to give a more 

lively performance. 

7.  LOCAL/DISTANT BUTTON (LOC)

  Press this button in strong signal areas to allow the radio to scan strong stations during manual tuning 

(LOC appears). Press to Distant position for listening to weak stations. 

8.  DISPLAY (DISP)

  Selects radio frequency or clock display.

 

To set the clock:

  1. With clock display selected, hold down (DISP) button until clock display starts flashing.

9.  MODE BUTTON (MODE)

  Press this key, to select RADIO mode, CD PLAYER or AUX IN mode.

10. BAND SELECTOR / SUBWOOFER BUTTON (BD/SUB)

  Press this button to toggle through the preset Radio FM1---FM---FM---AM1---AM.

 

SUBWOOFER: 

Press and hold button to engage/disengage the subwoofer output.

 

11.  AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL TUNING (FREQ UP

OR FREQ DOWN

)

 

(A) RADIO MODE

  When pressed for less than 1 second, the unit operates in manual tuning mode.

  When pressed longer than 1 second, the unit operates in automatic tuning mode.

  If the keys are not pressed again within  seconds, the unit will return to SEEK mode.
