Installing an MPEG-4 Decoder

If you want to view the live video from your Axis camera over your network or over the Internet, you
will need to install an MPEG-4 decoder.

Note:

A system administrator may prevent users from installing and updating the MPEG-4 decoder. If you have a

problem installing the MPEG-4 decoder, please see you system administrator.

1. To start the installation, select the

link in the Live View page as shown in the figure below.

2. Read through the MPEG license agreement that appears, and if you agree to the conditions,

and click

OK

3. Finally, click

Install

to complete the installation.
