Field of application:

The devices are only suitable for in-house distribution of RF signals.
SVS XXXX-06 can be used as input or trunk amplifier befor or between SPU
XXXX-06 multiswitches/cascade units.
If a device is used for other purposes, no warranty is given!
The figure on the right show an application example for distribution of 8 SAT
IF polarization levels including terrestrial signals (e.g. DAB+ radio).

RF Installation:

Use highly shielded coaxial cables with F connectors. Suitable cables and
connectors can be found in the current AXING catalogue or under www.
axing.com.

Adjustments:

The input levels can be adjusted from 0 to 15 dB (5).

Power supply:

The devices can be supplied remotely via the inputs or outputs or can be
supplied via an external power supply SZU 99-06 (not included in delivery)

The

Remote Power on / off

switch (4) blocks or routes the DC voltage to

the outputs.

Remote supply by other devices:

Turn the switch on:
The amplifier is supplied via its inputs or its outputs.

Turn off the switch to off:
The DC connection to the outputs is blocked.
The amplifier is only supplied via its inputs.

Operation with power supply and remote feeding of other devices:

Connect the power adapter to the DC jack (3).

Turn on the Remote Power switch on:
The DC voltage is forwarded to the inputs and outputs.
Downstream devices at the outputs and upstream devices at the inputs
are also powered.

Avoid parallel operation with external power

supply and / or remote feed on both sides!

Turn off the switch to off:
The DC connection to the outputs is blocked.
Only upstream devices at the inputs are supplied.

Equipotential bonding and mounting:

To avoid dangerous power surges (e.g. risk of fire and danger of life) the
devices must be connected to the equipotential bonding according to
EN 60728-11.

Use the equipotential bonding connection at the device (1).

To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential
bonding, use e.g. QEW Earthing angles at the inputs and outputs of the
device.

Use appropriate mounting screws and the mounting holes of the device (2).
