4 User Interface of the CMO 2-01
4.1 Status
4.1.1 Connection
This page shows the cable modem connection status including Downstream and Upstream.
The Startup Procedure table shows the processes that took place when the modem was started:
∂ Acquire Downstream Channel : This should show the frequency of the downstream channel and Locked.
This means that the modem has found a downstream channel that can be used to receive information
from the Internet.
∂
Connectivity State : Should be OK and Operational.
∂ Configuration File : This should read OK.
∂
Security : This should read "Enabled" and "BPI+".
The Downstream Bonded Channels table shows the following information about the downstream channels:

Modulation type in the Modulation column
∂ Frequency in the Frequency column
∂
Level in the Power column
∂ Signal to Noise Ratio in the SNR column
∂
The Correctables and Uncorrectables columns contain incorrect data packets that could or could not be
corrected during the data traffic.
The table Upstream Bonded Channels displays the following information about the upstream channels:

Multiplexing within the upstream channel in the US Channel Type column
∂ The symbol rate in the Symbol Rate column
∂
Frequency in the Frequency column
∂
Level in the Power column
