4. To return to normal weight display (gross weight),
remove any items from the weighing platform and
press the
TARE
key again to re-zero the scale.
VII. Using the Counting Feature
1. Press the
ON/OFF
key to turn the scale on.
2. Place a sample quantity of the items being weighed
on the platform. This quantity should either be 25,
50, 75, or 100 pieces.
3. Once the weight is stable, press and hold the
PCS
key to enter counting mode setup.
4. The current sample size will be displayed on the
LCD (ie. “P 25”).
5. Press the
UNIT
key to change it between 25, 50,
75, or 100 and press
PCS
to confirm. The count will
be displayed on the LCD. You may now add more
items. As items are added or removed the count will
update automatically.
VIII. Calibration
Calibration and adjustment are performed at the factory.
However, the weighing range can shift slightly during
shipping. Also, due to changes in local acceleration of gravity
around the world, adjustment is recommended when moving
the scale from one location to another. To check calibration:
1. Place the required calibration weight on the scale
and note the displayed value.
2. If the displayed value is not within acceptable
tolerance (see chart on the next page), adjustment
is required.
