Performance Characteristics and Aerosol Spectrum
Aerosol delivery as well as particle size have been evaluated and determined for the
AWR Nebulizer MN-300/2 in accordance with DIN EN 13544-1, appendix CC.
Performance characteristics and aerosol spectrum for the AWR Nebulizer MN-300/2
when using the nebulizer unit with an MMD of 4.0 µm:
Aerosol delivery as per DIN EN 13544-1, appendix CC

CC.1.4 is 1.17 +/- 0.04 mg sodium
chloride per minute. Aerosol delivery as per DIN EN 13544-1, appendix CC
–
CC.2 is 1.86
mg sodium chloride per minute. This is equivalent to an aerosol delivery of 0.4 ml
sodium chloride per minute.
The average particle size as per DIN EN 13544-1, appendix CC is 3.68
μ
m MMD with a
GSD of 1.64.
