GUIDE BAR MAINTENANCE
When the guide bar is dismounted, remove sawdust in the bar groove and
the oiling port. Check the lubrication hole in the bar, to be sure it is not
clogged. Clean the bar groove and oil holes with a wire.
Lubricate the nose sprocket from the feeding port on the tip of the bar to
extend the guide bar life.
When the guide bar shows signs of wear, reverse it on the saw to
distribute the wear for maximum bar life. Clean the bar mount area before
installing of the bar. Feathering or burring of the bar rails is a normal
process of bar wear. Such faults should be smoothed with a file as soon as
they occur.
Replace a guide bar if worn.
SCREWS/NUTS/BOLTS MAINTENANCE
Inspect, tighten screws, nuts and bolts periodically. Do not operate with any loosen parts.
TRANSPORT
Always stop the engine before putting a chainsaw down or carrying it. When transporting,
keep chain and bar covered with the chain guard pointing backwards.
STORAGE
Keep the chain saw out of reach of children, and keep it in a dry area, free from moisture and
dust.
1.
Clean the air cleaner with a stiff brush dipped in gasoline, then let it dry and remount it.
2.
Completely clean the unit using a brush or stream of compressed-air, then dry it and apply
thin coating of oil on metal parts to prevent rust.
3.
Store it in the cardboard box in which it came and keep it in a dry area. Avoid hot and
humid places.
When the saw is not in use for a certain period of time, there could be
small chain oil spills. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction
of the device. All complaints related to this phenomenon will not be
considered. To avoid this phenomenon chainsaw must be completely
drain from oil after each use.
DISPOSAL
Because each device is specified by the manufacturer's service life, after completing its specified
job it will lose their useful properties. Therefore, that is the best time to give it
to a service, or give the items to the appropriate recyclables collection points
after metal parts have separated from plastic parts
