Always guide the starter cord back to its starting position – do not just let go and allow it to
speed back by itself.

When the engine is running, lift up the power tool and hold it safely
with both hands, then briefly operate the throttle control to cancel the
part throttle setting

CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT
The carburetor is set to its basic setting when test run at the factory. The basic setting should be
kept during the machine‘s first working hours. Nevertheless, due to different working conditions the
carburetor should be finely adjusted.
The carburetor must be adjusted by an authorized servicing dealer.
CHAIN BRAKE
Your chainssaw is equipped with a chain brake. When the chain brake is
activated, it stops the saw chain in a fraction of a second. In an
emergency, the chain brake engages instantly in response to the inertia
caused by kickback.
Each time, before commencing your work, check the function of the
chain brake. To manually activate the chain brake, press the hand
protection forwards towards the guide bar. Improper maintenance,
removal of any protective devices, installing the wrong guide bar or saw
chain can cause serious injury.
MAINTENANCE
Always stop engine, disconnect spark plug, and make sure all moving parts have come to a
complete stop before removing obstructions, clearing debris, or servicing unit. Allow unit to cool
before performing service.
AIR FILTER
The air filter must be regularly cleaned from dust and dirt . Clean the
air filter daily or more often if the air is exceptionally dusty in the
working area. Brush off dust lightly, or clean with compressed air, or
replace the air filter. Use naptha for filter mesh cleaning. Air filter must
be completely dry before it is reinstalled.
STARTER CORD
Make sure that the starter rope is in good condition. When the starter rope show signs of wear,
replace it.
