Move the crane to the item which will be lifted. Ensure the hook is directly above the point of
lift and the point of lift is directly above the centre of gravity of the load.
Securely attach the hook and the chain to the item.
To raise the boom, close the jack’s valve by turning it fully clockwise (right) using the end of
the pump handle. Insert the handle into the jack linkage and pump the handle (up and down)
repeatedly until the items has been lifted to the desired height.
Be sure to fully tighten the release valve or else the jack may lower or may not be
able to reach the full height.
LOWERING
To lower the crane, very slowly turn the jack’s release valve counterclockwise using the end of
the pump handle and the jib will lower.
The more the valve knob is turned, the faster the rate of descend. Be extremely careful when
lowering heavy loads.
FOLDING THE FRAME
Do not fold crane while loaded.
1.
Lower boom (9) all the way down.
2.
Remove R-pins (13) from the front ring pins (12). Remove the
front ring pins (12). Leave rear ring pins (12) in.
3.
Raise legs (6) until they rest against handle (3).
4.
Insert a front ring pins (12) into the hole for each leg (6) and
reinsert R-pins (13).
Note:
Be certain that when unfolding both ring pins and r-pins are
placed back in proper places.
BLEEDING* INSTRUCTION
Before first use check for proper hydraulic oil level and thoroughly test the equipment. If it
does not work properly, bleed excess air from its hydraulic system as follows:
1.
Open release valve and lower jack completely.
2.
Remove oil plug and fill with good quality hydraulic oil to full level.
3.
Apply downward pressure to the boom and pump the jack handle quickly several times.
4.
Check the oil fill hole and if necessary fill oil to the top of oil hole.
5.
Replace the oil plug and close the release valve.
6.
Test the equipment several times for proper operation before attempting to lift a load.
*means that the jack begins to slowly lower rather than keep load at height
