Operation

Make sure that the hand grip is folded out fully and held firmly with the rear panel facing toward the
operator and the flare facing away. For added security, place the loop strap around the wrist.

Adjust the volume control slider (3) to the centre of its travel and slide the Speech / Off / Siren switch (4)

to the “Speech” position

- the LED indicator (2) will light to show that the megaphone is activated. Speak

into the microphone (1) and adjust the volume slider up or down to suit the output level required.

When speech is finished, move the switch to the “Off”

position, which also preserves the battery.

I

f an alert is required, moving this switch to the “Siren” position will emit a loud sweeping pitch from the

horn.

Switching to “Off” again stops the siren.

When not in use, place the megaphone face down (flare down) onto a flat surface. Folding the handle
away makes the megaphone more compact for storage or transport. Remove the batteries if not being
used for long periods.
