The battery life is too short

You Geosat 6 may not have been charged long enough

(4 hours are suggested for the first charge), or it may

not have been correctly charged.

•How to power the device:

IN THE CAR:

the car charger must be plugged with

one end in the car cigarette lighter and with the
other end in the active holder. The red led on the

cigarette lighter plug must be on. The backlit AvMap
logo should start flashing.

Power on the navigator

pressing the

Power Key on the right side.

AT HOME:

the AC/DC power supply cable must be

plugged in the power socket on the right side of the

navigator.
(par. IV.I). Power on the Navigator pressing the Power

Key on the right side.

To be sure that the navigator is charging, check

the battery status, in the lower right corner of the
display, or opening the battery status menu (par.

2.12)

6.6

I have updated the software and some

functions (such as the Bluetooth or the IPOD
control) are no more available

Please make sure you have selected the right product

model when choosing for the software update, if not

repeat the update (per. 20.1).

When powering on, the message ‘Geosat6.
