@V4800 User’s Manual                                       Operation    5-11 

ADJUSTING DENSITY 

 
 
The @V4800 is preset to the Normal  level of density.  If your original 
document comes with a lighter or darker contrast, your can improve 

the quality using the Adjusting Density feature.   

 

To change your density, 

 

1.

 

Press the 

Copy

 button on the panel to prompt the 

Copy

 screen. 

 

 

 

 

2.

 

Press the 

 

key to move your cursor down to the

 Density

    

field. 

3.

 

Choose your desired density with the 

  or 

  keys and   

then press the 

Select/OK

 button (

**  After you have made your copies, the settings you have just made 

will remain in the LCD-display for three minutes.  After three 
minutes, the machine will automatically return to the factory 
default settings.
