Fit the horizontal stabilizer halves and secure using the supplied
2 off 2.3 x 8 mm self tapping screws .

WATERSLIDE DECALS:
The following pages show the waterslide decals and the positions of the m on the m odel that have to be applied by the builder .
A pplying the decals:
1. Ensure the surface is clean and dust and grease free .
2. Using a hobby knife cut around the decal leaving a s m all m argin .
3. I mm erse the decal in a solution of war m water and a few drops of washing up liquid for a few seconds . Use a saucer or a shallow plate
that is large enough to soak the whole flat decal.
4. The decal will initially curl up and then will slowly start to flatten out. When it flattens out carefully test to see if the decal slides on the
backing paper.
5. When separation has occurred remove the decal and the backing paper from the water as one item, still together.
6. Position the decal on the model, put a slight finger pressure on the decal and slide the backing paper away from underneath so that
the decal lays onto the surface of the model.
7. The decal will now still slide on the surface so that you can position it accurately.
8. Once in position very carefully dab the excess moisture from the decal with an absorbent cloth or blotting paper. Also very carefully
push out any air bubbles.
9. Once the decals have been allowed to dry thoroughly, this could take up to 7 days we recommend that you coat the decals with a matt
or satin varnish for durability. Please do not be tempted to apply the varnish too soon otherwise the varnish will attack the decal
causing it to wrinkle up.
