Installing long dispensing edge holder
horizontally
Horizontal mounting (90°) of the dispensing edge
holder requires 2 additional deflection rollers.
Article numbers roll kits:
– A9766 for ALS 306
– A9810 for ALS 309
RH machines:
Before assembling the dispensing edge holder, two
modifications are necessary:
– Rotating the cross bars [41].
– Replace the deviation roller at the machine by the
(thick) roller in the roller kit [42].

Loosen the 4 set screws [41A] at each of the 2 cross
bars.

Turn the cross bars [41B] and push it back onto the
holding rods.

Tighten the set screws.

Remove the AUM, see chapter “Removing the
AUM” on page 198.

Remove the deflection roller [42A] and replace it by
the thick roller in the roller kit [42B].

Remove the caps [42E].

Push the axle of the thick deflection roller into the
upper hole and fix it with a screw from the opposite
side [42C].

Push the axle of the thin deflection roller [42B] into
the lower hole and fix it with a screw from the
opposite side [42D].

Remount the AUM.
