ip vrrp

User level: privileged, supervisor.

Use the

ip vrrp

command to create a virtual router on the interface.

Use the

ip vrrp

command to delete a virtual router.

The syntax for this command is:

[no] ip vrrp

<vr-id>

Example:

ip vrrp address

User level: privileged, supervisor.

Use the

ip vrrp address

command to assign an IP address to the virtual

router.
Use the

ip vrrp address

command to remove an IP address from a virtual

router.

The syntax for this command is:

[no] ip vrrp <vr-id>

address <ip-address>

Example:
To assign address 10.0.1.2 to virtual router 1:

vr-id
