Conditions that trigger link recovery

Link Recovery begins with detection of either:

A TCP socket failure on the H.248 link

or

•

Loss of the H.248 link within 40-60 seconds

General link recovery process

Link Recovery design incorporates three separate timers that monitor the period of time that the server or
gateway spends in specific Link Recovery processes.
