Viewing Switch Port Settings
You can view switch port parameters through either the Web Agent and the
CLI.
Web Agent
Procedure
To view switch port parameters using the Web Agent:
1. Select Configuration from the Modules & Ports group of the Web
Agent window. The Module Information dialog box opens ( Figure 8-
2 ).
2. Select the switch ports for that module from the Switch Ports column.
The Switch Ports dialog box opens.

4. Select one of the following items listed at the bottom of the screen for
more information about the switch ports:

Next/Previous Module – Displays the next or previous
module’s switch port parameters.

Parameter Definition
Links Opens associated windows.
Port Displays the port associated with the selected
module.
Name Displays the port name and opens the Switch
Port Configuration window for the selected
module.
Port VLAN Displays the port VLAN for the selected
module.
VLAN Classification Displays the port VLAN classification for the
selected module.
Trunk Mode Displays the port’s trunk mode for the selected
module.
Hunt Group Displays the hunt group of which the port is a
member for the selected module.
STAP Mode Displays whether the spanning tree algorithm
protocol is enabled or disabled for the selected
module.
MAC Address Displays the port’s MAC address for the selected
module.
