30 Install a Headset (Optional)

User’s Guide

Install a Headset (Optional)

The optional headset provides a hands-free option when you use the belt clip to
carry the handset and conduct a conversation. All feature operations remain the
same except the handset earphone and microphone are disconnected.

Open the cover over the Headset jack that is located on the top of the
Handset.

2

Plug in the headset.

Only use headsets especially designed or modified for use with radio
frequency equipment.
