Operation
Carefully unpack the soup kettle warmer and inspect
it for damage.
• Place the warmer on a solid, level surface.
• Use with wet heat only. Add 20 oz. (.6 liters) of water to the kettle before placing the bain marie insert into the warmer.
Never over-fill with water. Under no circumstances should the bain marie float, even when empty. Remove any excess
water immediately.
• Turn the warmer on. The indicator light will glow, showing that the unit is on. Adjust the temperature control dial to the
correct setting:
a: Settings 8-12 are designed for initial warm-up
b: Normal control settings range from 1-8
c: Once the kettle has reached the desired temperature, adjust the temperature control dial to a lower setting. It is
recommended that the lowest possible setting that maintains food-safe serving temperatures be used.
Note: This soup kettle warmer is not designed to cook soups or sauces, nor is it designed to
rethermalize cold or frozen products.
• Always keep the hinged lid attached and closed when not serving.
