Designed purpose of use
The AVANT Bedding Distributor Bucket is an attachment suitable for use with AVANT multi purpose loaders
shown in Table 1. The new bedding distributor bucket is intended for distribution of different types of beddings
in cowhouses, poultry farms etc. The bucket is equipped with a 300 mm wide belt, which allows distribution of
various materials, including chopped straw, sawdust, peat, bark, wood shavings, sand, and lime. Belt speed is
adjustable with the auxiliary hydraulics flow of the loader.
The bucket is equipped with a mixing shaft which distributes the material evenly on the belt. Material can be
discharged to the left or to the right by turning the auxiliary hydraulics control lever of the loader in either
direction. Rubber scraper blade, intended for cleaning the floor grates, is available as an option. It mounts
under the bucket.
Inside the bucket, a mixing shaft enables continuous feed of material. The bucket is intended only for soft,
loose materials typically used at farms. The bucket is not intended to handle and will not chop long straw or
hay,
The attachment has been designed to require as little maintenance as possible. The operator can perform
regular maintenance tasks. All repair work can’t be performed by the operator, and demanding repair and
maintenance operations are to be left for professional maintenance. All maintenance work must be done using
proper safety equipment. Spare parts must be identical with original specifications, which can be ensured by
using only original spare parts. A separate spare parts catalogue may be available, consult your Avant dealer.

The compatibility recommendations are based on the width of the loader, lifting capacity, and adequate
breakout force. Normally the width of the attachment should match roughly the width of the loader. When
using too wide attachment the actual breakout force (bucket tilting capacity) decreases and the overall
performance will decrease. To estimate the lifting capacity of the loader the load diagram shown in the
operator’s manual of the loader can be used. When using with models marked with (
, full performance may
not be achieved. Additional counterweights may also be required.
