3.0 CHECKING PACKAGE CONTENTS
Before attempting to use this unit, please check the packaging and make certain
the following items are contained in the shipping carton:

1x AP-299 Dolby® Digital to Analog Audio Converter

1x AC Adapter

1x Operation Manual
Note: Please retain the original packing material should the need ever arise to
return the unit. If you find any items are missing, contact your reseller or TV One
immediately. Have the Model Number, Serial Number and Invoice available for
reference when you call.
4.0 CONNECTING THE HARDWARE
Please study the panel drawings below and become familiar with the locations of
the Signal Inputs, Outputs, Power connector and Input Select switch.
Connect the Output(s) from the source equipment to the appropriate Input con-
nectors on the AP-299. Next, connect the AP-299’s Optical, Coaxial and/or
analog L and R outputs to the destination audio equipment. Set the Input Select
Switch on the side of the AP-299 to the desired audio input mode (Optical, Coax
or L/R).
Connect the AC adapter to the AP-299 and to a working AC power socket. Press
the Power button on the side of the unit and then turn on the destination
equipment and the source equipment.
