Connecting to a PC

To connect a single stand-alone detector to a PC, connect the PC‘s serial port

directly to the detector’s 9-

way RS

-232 port. Connections for this cable are

shown in Figure

16

.

If required, you use a USB to serial RS

-232 adapter cable to

connect to the PC USB port.
