ATTENTION
Disposing of electrical or electronic devices at the end of their life (applicable in all
European Union countries and in other European systems with separate collection
systems)
This symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the product
should not be considered as normal household waste, but instead
taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the environment and human
health which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate disposal.
Recycling materials helps to conserve natural resources.
For more detailed information about recycling this product, you can
contact the municipal office, the local waste disposal service or the
point of sale where the product was purchased.
Specifically, consumers must not dispose of WEEE as municipal waste, but dispose of it
separa- tely, in two possible ways:
1) At municipal collection centres (also called eco-stations, recycling points), directly or via
the collection services of municipal companies, where available;
2) At sales outlets selling new electrical and electronic equipment.
Here, very small WEEE (with the longest side less than 25 cm) can be left free of charge,
while larger ones can be left on a 1-for-1 basis, i.e. you can leave the old product when you
buy a new one with the same function.
In the event of illegal disposal of electrical or electronic equipment, the penalties provided
for by current legislation on environmental protection may be applied (Italian legislation; it
is necessary to check the regulations in force in the country of use/disposal of the vehicle).
If WEEE contains batteries or accumulators, these must be removed and disposed of via
speci- fic separate waste collection.
