8.2.4 RESTORING NORMAL CONDITIONS AFTER EMERGENCY
MANOEUVRES
To restore normal operating conditions following emergency manoeuvres, the following operations must
be performed in sequence:
a. Pump with the lever (fig.3) engaged in the lever mechanism (fig.5) until the platform reaches the
correct level to return inside the housing.
b. If open, close the rear flap, handles and front platform. Push the platform fully into its housing.
c. Re-engage the pinion and the rack by turning the nut (fig.1) on the front of the housing anti-
clockwise by 90°.
d. Ensure that the platform is locked in the housing by attempting to remove it manually.
e. Close the front door.
DO NOT MOVE THE VEHICLE BEFORE THE MECHANICAL LOCK HAS
BEEN SECURED IN PLACE AND THE RACK TURNED.
