detected”. Repeat
test. Should the
vehicle continue
to start too quickly,
on gas engines
you can floor the
accelerator for
the first second of
cranking, which
puts the engine
into
“Clear Flood
Mode”, which
prevents
the engine
from starting
immediately. After
the 1st second, let
off the accelerator,
and let the engine
start.
This message (Did
the vehicle crank)
will pop up if the
engine started
too quickly for the
tester to record
cranking RPM.
