5.6 Group Channels
An Alarm Panel can have the authority to acknowledge all channels or a select group of
channels only.
Channels are by default not assigned to any group but can be assigned to any of the three
available groups. All Alarm Panels in a network can acknowledge unassigned channels.
To edit, the panel must be a Main Panel.

only. This is selected in the Administration menu under "This Panel".

Channels that are assigned to a group can only be acknowledged on panels that have
selected this group. They are in a way "protected" from acknowledging, which can be done
from select panels only.
Furthermore, if a channel is assigned to a group, then the group belonging can be visualized
in the grid/gauge view. The operator can switch this visualization on/off.

Status
Groups
Select which group the channel shall be assigned to. By default, all
channels are unassigned.
Note!
Press the group name to change the name of that group.
