Mode 6
Mode 6 refers to the advanced test results for On-Board Diagnostic System
Monitors. Example monitors include Oxygen Sensors and Misfire Counters.
Mode 6 details if the monitors are passing their tests and if the values are
within acceptable range. For each test, the result displays six parameters,
MID, TID, Module ID, Value, Min, and Max. Monitor ID (MID) represents
what is being tested. Test ID (TID) represents what specific test is being run.
Min is the minimal allowable test result that will not set a DTC. Value is the
actual test result. Max is the maximum allowable test result that will not set
a DTC.
