Guidance and manufacturer’s declara>on – electromagne>c immunity
The Aura - Nova HD is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. The customer or
the user of the Aura - Nova HD should assure that it is used in such an environment.

NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situa>ons. Electromagne>c propaga>on is affected by absorp>on and
reflec>on from structures, objects and people.
•
Field strengths from fixed transmiXers, such as base sta>ons for radio (cellular/cordless) telephones and land
mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM radio broadcast and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theore>cally
with accuracy. To assess the electromagne>c environment due to fixed RF transmiXers, an electromagne>c site
survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in the loca>on in which the Aura - Nova HD is used
exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the Aura - Nova HD should be observed to verify normal
opera>on. If abnormal performance is observed, addi>onal measures may be necessary, such as re-orien>ng
or reloca>ng the Aura - Nova HD.
Portable and mobile RF communica>ons
equipment should be used no closer to any part
of the Aura - Nova HD System, including cables, than
the recommended separa>on distance calculated
from the equa>on applicable to the frequency of
the transmiXer.
Recommended separa>on distance
d = [3.5/10] √P 80 MHz to 800 MHz
d = [7/10] √P 800 MHz to 2.7 GHz
where P is the maximum output power ra>ng of the
transmiXer in waXs (W) according to the transmiXer
manufacturer and d is the recommended separa>on
distance in meters (m). Field strengths from fixed RF
transmiXers, as determined by an electromagne>c
site survey,
a
should be less than the compliance level
in each frequency range.
