Operation
Power supply
Batteries:
Open the battery compartment on the bottom and insert 4 batteries (type C), minding
the correct polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment. Decreasing battery capacity will cause
slower rotating cassette motors as well as distorted sound. Exchange the batteries in this case.
Mains adapter:
Use the supplied mains adapter to connect the device to a houshold mains socket.
Inserted batteries will automatically be disconnected and thus can be left inside.
You can also use the RQ-132 in connection with a car adapter (optional). In this case, the batteries are also
disconnected.
Headphones
Connect headphones with a 3.5mm jack to the headphones jack. The internal speaker will automatically
be disabled. You can also observe the recording process, listening via headphones (the internal speaker is
disabled when recording through the internal mic, because else, undesireable feedback qould occur).
