disc can be made by the Cue and Review functions of the TUNE
TRACK button.  Press and hold the Cue ( 

 ) side of the button

to advance rapidly in the forward direction; the advancing disc
playing time will be shown on the display panel, and the disc
symbol rotates rapidly in the clockwise direction.  Press the
Review (

 ) side of the button to advance rapidly in the backward

direction; the decreasing disc playing time will be shown on the
display panel, and the disc symbol rotates rapidly in the
counterclockwise direction.
During either function, the elapsed time within each track will
automatically be shown on the display panel.

  DISC PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS

When a disc is loaded into the player, LOAD momentarily appears
on the display, the 

 symbol lights, and CD appears.  These

indications are followed by display of the disc track number (01,
etc.)
 as the disc begins to play.  To stop disc play and switch to
CD changer operation (when connected), press the MODE
button.  To return to disc player operation, press the MODE button
again; to pause disc player operation, press the PAUSE button;
the 

 symbol will flash on the display.  To return to disc play,

press the PAUSE button again.  To return to radio operation,
press the BAND button.

  TRACK SCAN SELECTOR (SCAN)

During disc player operation, press this button to play the first 10
seconds of each track on the disc (SCAN will appear on the
display  panel).  When a desired track is reached, press the
SCAN button again to cancel the function (SCAN will disappear

from the display panel) and play of the selected track will continue.
Scan mode will also be canceled by activating  the Repeat Play,
Shuffle (Random) Play, or track select  functions.

 REPEAT PLAY SELECTOR (REPEAT)

During disc player operation, press this button to repeat the play
of the selected track  (REPEAT will appear on the display panel).
Play of the track  will continue to repeat  until the button is pressed
again and the REPEAT indication disappears  from the display
panel.  Repeat  Play mode will also be canceled by activating the
Track Scan or Shuffle  Play  functions.

  RANDOM PLAY SELECTOR (SHUFFLE)

During disc player operation, press this button to play the tracks
on the disc in a random shuffled order (SHUFFLE  will appear on
the display panel).  In Random Play mode, the Track Select
function  will also select tracks in the random order instead of the
normal progression.  The Random Play mode can be canceled
by pressing the button again  (SHUFFLE indication  will disappear
from the display panel) or by activating the Repeat Play or Track
Scan functions.

  DISC EJECT (   )

During CD player operation, disc play is stopped and the disc is
ejected when this button is pressed.   CD changer operation will
automatically resume if a changer is being used; otherwise, radio
operation will resume.   If the disc is not removed from the unit
within approximately 10 seconds of being ejected, it will
automatically be re-loaded into the unit to prevent it from being
