Glossary
Active – This means power amplifiers are built into the loudspeaker,
one per driver, for ultimate quality.
Bluetooth aptX– aptX is a transmission codec developed by CSR for
streaming lossless audio content over Bluetooth. Source devices must
also support aptX to enable this feature and a list of such devices can
be found on the CSR website.
Damp – Absorption of energy, usually by conversion to heat.
Crossover – The point at which the audio signal is split between one
transducer and another.
Blu-tack – A gum like substance produced by Bostik Corporation.
Commonly used to temporarily affix paper or card items to a flat
surface.
