4 - Getting started
CAUTION: Before any cabling, please make sure the amplifier is not connected to an electrical outlet and the
power switch is positioned onto OFF.
The INPUT and LINE sockets are balanced.
They can also receive unbalanced signals.
You will find below the wiring principle of such connectors.
Please use high-quality cables to connect your speakers.
In order to prevent short-circuits, please tin the cables before connecting them to the output terminal.
You will find below a table of correspondence between the amplifier/speakers distance and cable sections in
order to prevent signal quality losses.
Distance Section
Up to 8 m 1,5 mm²
Between 8 and 12 m 2 mm²
Between 12 and 18 m 3,5 mm²
Between 18 and 30 m 5 mm²
Between 30 and 45 m 8,5 mm²
Between 45 and 60 m 13 mm²
Note: Never use screened cable to carry amplified signals.
