5.14.4  Deleting a Contact from the Personal Directory 

This section shows how to delete a contact from the Personal Directory. 

 

To delete a contact from the Personal Directory: 

1. 

Access the Personal Directory (CONTACTS hard key > 

Groups

  softkey > 

Personal 

Directory

).  

2. 

Navigate to the contact to delete. 

 

3. 

Touch the 

Details

 softkey; the contact details are shown. 

 

4. 

Touch the 

Delete 

softkey; a 'Delete current contact?' warning message appears. 

5. 

Touch the 

Yes

 softkey to remove the contact from the phone directory or 

No

 if you want to 

keep the contact in the directory; the contact is removed from the directory. 

 

 

 

Note:  

•

 

Corporate Directory contacts cannot be deleted.

 

•

 

Only Personal Directory contacts can be deleted.
