Power
Three umbilical cables are supplied to connect the CDT-Six Transport
to the Force Power Supply. Each cable is different, having differing
numbers of pins in the connectors at each end of the cable. You will
notice that the sockets on the rear of the CDT-Six and Force are also
different, and the number of pin apertures in each socket corresponds
with the output pins on the three cables. Examine these cables and
sockets thoroughly before making the following connections, so that
you are familiar with the cable plugs and the corresponding sockets on
the rear panels of the CDT-Six and Force. Each output on the Force
and corresponding input on the CDT-Six is separately numbered, 1, 2,
3.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THESE CONNECTIONS ARE MADE
CORRECTLY. ONLY CONNECT EACH OUTPUT TO ITS
CORRESPONDING AND SIMILARLY NUMBERED INPUT.
First, locate the correct cable and connect it to
OUTPUT 1
on the
Force Power Supply. Then, connect the other end of the cable to
INPUT 1
on the CDT-Six Transport.
Repeat the above instructions for cables and connections 2 and 3.
