Equipment
Audio International, Inc. offers a comprehensive family of Cabin Ready
Enclosures. For limited space applications, AI offers combination
enclosures with excellent full range sound. For more elaborate systems,
better sound can be obtained using combinations of low range
woofers/subwoofers and high range mid/tweet or full range enclosures.
Custom speaker enclosures are available on request. Contact your AI
representative for more information.
2.0 Installation
2.1
Prior to Installation
Proper wire size for the power and ground connections should be chosen
giving consideration to the current carried and the length of the wire run.
The EN-600W series speaker enclosures must be installed to conform to
the standards designated by the customer, installing agency, and existing
conditions as to the unit location and type of installation. The following
should be carefully considered before installing:
2.1.1 Select a mounting location for the unit. Mounting screws are
required to secure the unit (#10-32 UNF). Refer to Section 5.0,
Specifications and Drawings, for mounting hole diameters and
configuration.
2.2
Unpacking and Inspection
2.2.1 Carefully open the packaging and remove the speaker enclosure.
Verify that all components have been included in the package per
the packing list. Inspect the unit(s) for damage. Retain the packing
materials and packing list.
If damage has occurred during shipping, a claim must be filed with
AI within 24 hours and a “Return Request Authorization Number”
must be obtained from AI. Refer to the front cover of this manual
for address and telephone number of Audio International.
Repackage the unit in its original packaging materials and return it
to AI following instructions given by the AI representative. If no
return is necessary, retain the packing materials for storage or
reshipment if necessary.
