Press or to select the parental lock level and press ENTER. DVD video
discs rated higher than the level selected cannot be played unless the parental
lock function has been cancelled. The parental lock level is equivalent to the
following USA movie ratings:
LEVEL 1:G
LEVEL 3:PG
LEVEL 4:PG13
LEVEL 6:R
LEVEL 7:NC-17
The parental lock levels for “CAN” (Canada) are included for future use. Check
the appropriate parental lock level when buying a DVD video disc equipped with
the parental lock feature.
5. Press SET UP and the SET UP MENU will disappear.
6. To change the parental lock level, press the number buttons on the numerical
keypad to enter the 4-digit security code. Return to step 3. If a mistake is made,
press the CLEAR button and enter the correct 4-digit security code.
