Alternative clock setup: Dante network clock synced to Yamaha equipment
In this example, a Yamaha console has been chosen to provide the word clock for the network. The Dante-MY16-
AUD2 card installed on that console is set to ‘Slave to External Word Clock’, and the Yamaha console has been
configured to provide its internal word clock. The Yamaha console clock is now the system clock - it drives the
installed Dante-MY16-AUD2 clock, which becomes the PTP Master Clock for the Dante network.
