– Guide the selector lever into the “tiptronic gate”.
– Tighten the clamping screw in this position with the -T40031-
without touching the selector lever.
– Check the selector mechanism. Refer to

– Install the rear noise insulation. Refer to ⇒ Body Exterior; Rep.
Gr. 66 ; Noise Insulation; Overview - Noise Insulation .

• Tightening specification. Refer to

– Remove the ATF oil pan. Refer to

– Remove the ATF filter. Refer to

– Remove the Mechatronic. Refer to ⇒ Servicing - 8-Speed Au‐
tomatic Transmission; Rep. Gr. 38 ; Mechatronic; Mechatron‐
ic, Removing and Installing .
– Vehicles with a selector lever heat shield: remove the bolts
-arrows-, remove the heat shield.
