Set system date:  

The user may update both date (year/month/day) and time (hour/minute/second).

Set system time zone: 

The user selects the geographical zone from the list. Important to have this set correctly when using 
an NTP server. 

 

¾

 

Network Time Protocol:

 NTP update  

The user can enter a time server address to update the equipment’s internal clock automatically. Enter 
either an IP address or a DNS address the unit can reach; make sure to properly set the Gateway or 
DNS servers on the ‘Network’ page (see section 6.5).

Set the time zone first! Changes in the time zone affect the time that is displayed in the system 
time window, so setting the zone first will eliminate the need to set the system time twice!

Any changes on this page will trigger a restart of the embedded operating system. This is 
necessary in order to apply the new time settings to alarms, logs and other elements of 
the software. 

If on air, transmission will be interrupted.
