4.4 Flange function
4.4.1 Countdown (or timer) function
With the countdown function, you can, without starting the
chronograph, measure a period of up to 60 minutes using the
rotating flange and the minute hand. To activate this function :

, it releases the flange which you can now
rotate.

Position the desired duration, for example 20 opposite the
minute hand (

). The time will have elapsed when the
minute hand reaches position N (= 0) on the flange.
4.3.5 Fourth warning signal, crossing the start line
This is the signal giving the green light to officially cross the
start/finish line. It is shown by counters 4 , 5 , 6 and 7 . From this
moment on, the chronograph can be left to follow the race after
activating the flyback function to zero all counters.
