ATTO Technology FibreBridge 3300R Installation and Operation Manual

11 Enhancing performance

SpeedWrite is a method to improve the performance of WRITE commands to SCSI devices attached to
the FibreBridge 3300 enabled by CLI commands.

SpeedWrite is a method to improve the
performance of FCP WRITE commands to SCSI
devices attached to the FibreBridge. Using the
CLI command SpeedWrite, you can specify the
SCSI bus, target and LUN of a mapped device or
specify [all] to set or get the state of all currently
mapped SCSI devices.

SpeedWriteDefault specifies the state of
SpeedWrite for any SCSI devices mapped
manually or via an AutoMap operation. If
enabled, any new SCSI device will use
SpeedWrite performance enhancement by
default.
