5.3. Load Configuration
The MMU Programming Card settings can only be changed when the interface
is not connected to TVC-3800. If connected, click Disconnect button on the
toolbar.
To load a CMU Configuration, click the button. This
will allow you to browse to where your CMU configuration File is stored. After
loading, the status will then display “Status: CMU Configuration is Loaded”.
To clear a CMU Configuration, click the button. The Status will then
Display “Status: CMU Configuration not loaded”.
5.4. Status Messages
For each CMU, there is a Status message(as seen below) that will give
information about the current state of the CMU.
There are six possible Status messages that can be displayed.
1. “ CMU Configuration is not loaded ”. This appears when you have not
connected and there is no configuration present for the CMU.
2. “ CMU Configuration is Loaded. ” This appears when you have not
pressed connect button but have loaded a configuration for a CMU.
3. “ CMU configured and operating. " This appears when you press the
connect button and the Cabinet correctly detects CMU and is working
properly.
4. “ Awaiting type 82 frame, may need to power cycle. "This condition can
happen if you connect to a cabinet that has already received a type 82
response(CMU Configuration key), and the controller does not send
another type 82 request. To fix this error, power cycle the controller.
5. “ CMU configuration missing. " This message will be displayed if the
cabinet is expecting a response from a CMU that does not have a
Configuration. To resolve, disconnect and load a proper configuration
file.
