GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS:
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down,
grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk
of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances.
WARNING:
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric
shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to
whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug. No adapter
should be used with the plug. The Omega is for use on a nominal 120-volt
50/60Hz. Circuit. 230V Optional.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
The vacuum is packed with the canister filter. When it is time to change the filter,
follow these simple instructions:
1.
Unplug the vacuum from the power source. Release front latches and open
lid.
2.
Lift filter out by placing fingertips under lifting tabs located on both ends of
filter.
3.
Push small orange filter plug into hose inlet to avoid any spills.
4.
Dispose of the filter cartridge in an appropriate manner compliant with all
local, state, and federal laws.
5.
Insert new filter cartridge. Close lid and latch securely PRIOR TO USE.
6.
These vacuums have a factory installed resettable Thermal Cutout (TCO) for
added operator and motor safety. If the unit gets too hot, the vacuum will
shut down for approx. 20 minutes. Turn the on/off switch to the off position,
and turn back on in approximately 20 minutes. Your hose may be clogged, or
it may be time to install a new filter.
