OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Routine maintenance, that can be carried out by the end-user on a weekly or monthly time base.
Check the level of Polyphos A contained in the dosing system, change the Polyphos A refill if the
level is slow.

1. Turn off the Flux-stop cock rotating it clockwise.
2. Release the pressure loosening the screw on the head. Unscrew the ring nut/the bowl with the
appropriate spanner.
3. Remove the residues, wash properly the bowl, the o-ring and the bellow without removing it;
refill with a new charge.
4. Tighten the bowl to head by the means of the ring-nut and tighten the vent-screw.
5. Turn on slowly the “Flux-stop”* cock counter - clockwise through two complete turns (not until
the end).
The Flux-stop cock must be regulated so as the refill may last two or three months. In case of
excessive consumption turn off the cock slightly.

1. Turn off the valve “Flux - stop” lowering the lever down to the position C.
2. Release the pressure loosening the vent screw on the head. Unscrew the bowl from the head
with the appropriate spanner.
3. Remove the residues, wash properly the bowl, the o-ring and the bellow without removing it;
refill with a new charge.
4. Re - screw the bowl to the head with the appropriate spanner, tighten the vent screw.
5. Turn on slowly the valve “Flux - stop” raising the lever up to the position A.

1. Turn off the water mains valve.
2. Release the pressure loosening the screw on the head. Unscrew the bowl with the appropriate
spanner.
3. Remove the residues, wash properly the bowl, the o-ring and the bellow without removing it;
refill with a new charge.
4. Re - screw the bowl to the head, tighten the vent screw.
5. Turn on slowly the water mains valve.
Always use the original refills POLIPHOS.
Wipe clean the dosing system bowl at every refill change or at least every three months. Rinse the
bowl with good quantiy of cold water and use only a soft sponge.
Twice or three times a year remove the bellow and wash it carefully under running water.
Is not in use for 2 weeks or more, the Polyphos A refill must be changed with a new one.
N.B.: if the refill is not consumed, the suction nozzle is clogged so it is necessary to clean it. Unscrew
the nozzle inside the head, remove it with small pliers and clean the hole with a fine needle of a 0,2
mm diameter.
POLIPHOS A
POLIPHOS A è is a blend of food-grade salts specific for the treatment of drinking water and designed
for the anti-scale conditioning of water with total hardness in the range of 50 to 300 ppm (as CaCO3).
Specific conditions apply for the use of Polyphos A:
- Anti-scale conditioning is active up to water temperature of 75/80°C.
- Use as it is with no alteration, place direct into the Dosaplus bowl.
- Always keep the Polyphos A refills in your posess in the temperature range of 5 and 35°C and
sheltered from heat and direct sunlight.
POLIPHOS A can be taken in stock for 12 mesi maximum prior the use .
Keep in protected place away from children reach.
WARNING
Do not discard Polyphos A refills from their packing before the use.
Use only original POLIPHOS A as a refill to Dosaplus. Use of other refills than the original is strictly
forbidden and make the warranty void as it may cause malfunctions to the dosing system and
eventually a break down.
Check that the dosing systems is always provided with good amount of refill for the best functioning
of the dosing system and best result in anti-scale protection.
WARRANTY
- Keep the label on the box for product identification.
- Applied warranty conditions are those in Directive CEE 85/374 for EU countries. For non EU countries, the product
is covered by a limited 12-month warranty from date of purchase (proof of purchase required). Claims must be
made in writing to the point or sale or to Atlas Filtri Italia S.r.l., Via Unità d’Italia, 10 - 35010 Limena, Italy. Claims
must: Indicate the product, place and date of purchase; provide the product for review; prove connections between
defects and damages. All disputes are regulated by Italian law and shall be submitted to the Court of Padua, Italy.
