Overview
To reduce the risk of serious injury or death to
yourself or others, read the Safety instructions
section found on the previous pages of this
manual before operating the machine.
Design and function
BLG 30 is designed to lubricate compressed air
equipment using mineral oil. No other use is
permitted.
Air flows through the lubricator from the air inlet,
partly directly to the pneumatic machine and partly
through the air pipe into the oil chamber so that static
pressure acts on the oil level in the lubricator. The
air forces the oil up into the oil pipe through both the
pipe opening and the small drilled holes in the oil
pipe, finally reaching the oil dosage screw.
The through-flow pipe is pinched opposite the oil duct
(Venturi), thus increasing the flow rate of the
compressed air and reducing the air pressure at the
mouth of the oil duct.
Because of the pressure difference, the lubricating
oil is forced out into the through-flow pipe where the
oil is atomized and carried with the air via the hose
to the pneumatic machine. The supply of oil can be
regulated by using the oil dosage screw to open or
close the oil duct.

Labels
The machine is fitted with labels containing important
information about personal safety and machine
maintenance. The labels must be in such condition
that they are easy to read. New labels can be ordered
from the spare parts list.

The warning symbol together with the book
symbol means that the user must read the
safety and operating instructions before the
machine is used for the first time.
