@Reg/bit
–
Byte 3 and Byte 4:
This parameter corresponds to the address of the register or bit where the read operation should start. Byte
3 corresponds to the low-order byte of the value and byte 4 corresponds to the high-order byte of the value.
Header
–
Byte 5:
This parameter corresponds to a value that is sent directly in a radio frame to identify the frame. It is used
in periodic frames (see ‘Statement Period parameter (Code 14)).
Note:
When concatenation is used, only the header of the first frame (Modbus) will be used in the radio
frame.
Number of registers/bits
–
Byte 6:
This parameter corresponds to the number of registers or bits to be read. A value of 0 deactivates the frame.
The maximum value will vary depending on whether concatenation with other frames is activated or not.
For LoRaWAN, the maximum value is limited to 17 registers or 255 bits in one radio frame; in Sigfox, the
number of registers is limited to 5 registers or 80 bits in one radio frame.
→
In other words, you have 34 bytes of data available for your register values with LoRaWAN and 10 bytes
available with Sigfox.
