If required, adjust the saw head vertically and tighten the
incline angle locking knob (25).
2.
Push the saw head to the rear and tighten the locking screw
of the pulling device (6).

Â
Press the saw head down (transport position) and
secure it using the transport locking pin (5).
5.
Check the angle between saw blade (36) and work piece
stop (11) using a square (A, not supplied).
6.
Loosen the set screws (12) for the work piece stop if the
work piece stop needs to be adjusted.
7.
Align the work piece stop along the square and tighten the
locking screw again.
Â
8.
If the mitre angle indicator (27) is not set to 0°, loosen the
screw and align the mitre angle indicator.
Adjusting the incline of the saw head
L
Also check the angle of the saw head to the rotary table.
Checking the 90° angle:
Â
1.
If required, adjust the saw head vertically and tighten the
incline angle locking knob (25).
2.
Push the saw head to the rear and tighten the locking screw
(6).
3.
Loosen the locking screw (7) for the rotary table (8), press
the locking lever (7A) and swivel the saw head to the 0°
position.
4.
Â
Check the angle using a square (A, not supplied).
Proceed as follows if the angle is not exactly 90°:
Â
•
Loosen the locking nut (29) for the set screw (28).
•
Loosen the incline angle locking knob (25).
•
Adjust the set screw (28) by turning it clockwisely or
counterclockwisely so that the saw blade comes in contact
with the square (90°).
•
Retighten the locking nut (29) for the set screw (28).
•
If necessary, loosen the screw for the indicator (27) and shift
it until it points to "0". Tighten the screw again.
Checking the 45° angle:
Â
Put the saw head to the 45° position and check the angle
using a protractor (B, not supplied).
Proceed as follows if the angle is not exactly 45°:
Â
•
Loosen the locking nut (31) for the set screw (30).
•
Loosen the incline angle locking knob (25).
•
Adjust the set screw (30) by turning it clockwisely or
counterclockwisely so that the saw blade comes in contact
with the protractor ( 45°).
•
Retighten the locking nut (31) for the set screw (28).
•
If necessary, loosen the screw for the indicator (27) and shift
it until it points to "45". Tighten the screw again.
Adjusting the saw blade depth
You must set the max. saw blade depth to ensure that
the saw blade does not touch the bottom of the saw
blade groove.
Â
1.
Adjust the saw head vertically and tighten the incline angle
locking knob (25).
