7 Remote valve control module – ZMZ
The External Shutoff module is a device supplementary for the EcoAlpa Control Unit and its use is necessary
when the shutoff valve has to be installed far away from the control unit. Such a solution eliminates to need
to use cables with large cross sections to connect the control unit and the valve. The connecting line
between the control unit and the ZMZ module transmits only low-current signals. In addition, the ZMZ
module is able to back up operation of the system when power voltage from the supplying grid disappears.
