10.2 DOT (Automatic entry)

First, select DOT from the Tire
Management menu.
The DOT function allows the user to scan each tires’ DOT either automatically using the cameras built-in optical
character recognition system, or by manual entry. This section will go over the automatic entry.

A chart will appear with DOT and WWYY
fields for each tire. The identification
number, and production week/year.
To begin the scanning process, select
the camera icon on the right hand
side.

Point the tool’s camera at the DOT
on the tire, ensuring to keep all of
the characters inside the illuminated
box. Small blue boxes will appear,
recognizing each individual character.
