Preparation
To prepare for the firmware upgrade, do the following:
1. Unplug the VC486’s power adapter.
2. Use a Micro USB cable to connect a USB Type-A port on your computer,
and the other end to the
Firmware Upgrade Port
of your VC486.
3. Plug the power adapter into Power Jack on the VC486.
4. If successful, the Status LEDs that indicates the SDI, HDMI, and power
status will start to flash. Now, you can start the upgrade process as
explained on the next page.
